    Teaching

Paul has been teaching since 1989, with a very high success rate across ages 10 to 60. He is experienced in private, school and academy settings.

Whilst teaching at Fenland Music Academy, Paul taught after-school rock clubs with the school’s most promising musicians. He conducted the band, installing confidence in public playing, and had them perform an end-of-term gig for parents and school staff — an event that boosted the inspiration of the students and the buzz of live performing.

He says the look on a student’s face as they nail their first song or riff is just as good as playing a big solo in front of a packed festival.

What people say.

  • Teaching

“Paul took our son from a nervous ten-year-old to playing his first song all the way through. Patient, no fuss, and the confidence has spilled into everything else. We wouldn’t be without the weekly lesson.”

  • Recording

“We run a small village choir for the over-60s and, through a friend, we found Paul. We wanted to put together a CD as a Christmas gift for our kids and grandchildren, and also to sell for local charities at our performances. Paul turned up with his equipment, set everything up quickly and just told us to imagine he wasn’t there. No fuss. The file arrived in a week and I was stunned at how well he captured us. We sold a fair few CDs and made some good money for the causes. I have spoken to him about a summer festival we plan to do, and he was enthusiastic about capturing our show. Highly recommended.”

    — Jane
  • Live Video Recording

“I run a theatre school and at an Easter performance I noticed how many people were filming their child’s spot on the stage. I mentioned this to a parent and he suggested a professional film of the show would be a proper keepsake and would look good on his big TV — plus no random people walking past or bad audio. I did a bit of research and found Paul. I booked him for a trial at a dress rehearsal and he nailed it. He set his cameras and microphones up and just sat back and recorded everything. I received his files a couple of weeks later and the audio and visuals were cinema quality. I now have him booked for our Christmas Carol performance in December. I literally can’t wait.”
